Hayden Wimhurst (born in 2003) is an Australian film writer and director based in Brisbane. He is graduating from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Film Screen and New Media in 2025, and has written and directed locally awarded and recognised short films during his studies. Alongside these, he has also worked as a lighting assist on multiple other projects.

His upcoming film is a 15 minute narrative short titled How To Move, currently in post-production.
